There are valuable lessons at the end of this post in video form . Take the time to first read the Character traits that we struggle with and God encourages us to grow in.
Lets define the Character Trait's that offer us the freedom's we so desire. Without Character we will never maintain the Freedom's that have been given to us. Defining who we are and where we are heading is the First Step.
1) Self-Control this includes moderation, self-discipline, willpower, and restraint. The strongest control is God control. This is when we align with our purpose.
2) Courage An outward display of the inward character quality of confidence. Strength to take risk, face danger, endure difficulty or withstand fear. Here is a study taken from Katie Brazelton's book Character Makeover.
3) Perseverance Persistence, Patients, Endurance, Diligence, and Pressing on. Maturity requires perseverance.
4) Generosity Do good, Be rich in good deeds,be generous and willing to share.
5) Humility Humility is the natural result of having an accurate perspective of who God is and having the right perspective of who you are in relation to him.
