Change

Not all change is positive growth, but all positive growth does require change. Change is predictable, we can be sure that it will be a natural part of our lives. Change is very impersonal, it happens to everyone. Change can happen quickly, and be relentless. The question for you and I is how will we respond.

Proactive people are able to plan ahead for change by knowing who they are and what they believe about life. They will respond rather than react.

Change can become a stumbling block if we hold onto the victim mentality, or it can be an opportunity for something positive and good in your life.

Many of us become frightened and resentful, and for others they get excited about the coming possibilities for future success.

Humans have a built in need for security, and we will seek out ways to comfort ourselves, through jobs, title's , people, drugs, sex and on and on it goes.

Change even unwanted change, forces us to evaluate where we are in life What are our options, where do I need to make adjustments in my life? With out change we continue on the same path without ever questioning if we are where we should be or where we want to be.

Unexpected change can be a great blessing , it gives us new perspective and second chances.

Life is a choice and choices are made often when the pressure of change moves us.

Learning to be at peace in the face of all things especially adverse times allows us space for self examination, and time for planning. As Dr. Wayne Dyer says's change the way you look at things and the thing's you look at will change.
