Scriptures on Organization and Planning

Hebrews 12:2 - ( One Thing At A Time ) Look away from the things that will distract  to Jesus, who is the leader and the source of our faith giving the first incentive for our belief and is also it's finisher bringing it to maturity and perfection.


Having a big picture of success is vital but the need to break it down into bite size amounts is important to accomplishing your goals.

Hebrews 13:5 - ( Be Satisfied ) Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money, greed, lust and craving for earthly possessions and be satisfied with your present circumstances and with what you have for he God himself has said I will not in anyway fail you. 


Contentment is something we all have to learn in order to stay on task and be productive.Moving from thing to thing creates instability.

Genesis 12:2 - ( God First ) I will bless you with abundant increase of favors and make your name famous and distinguished and you will be a blessing dispensing good to others.


This is a visual picture of what we are moving toward as we align ourselves with the truths in the word of God. Putting God first is setting a standard from which we measure and evaluate ourselves.


1 Corinthians 10:31 - ( Live For God ) So then whether you eat or drink or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.


This is our purpose and the blueprint for everyday living.

Matt. 6:34 - ( Don't Worry ) So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of it's own sufficient for each day is it's own trouble.


Focus on the moment at hand . It is more than enough for us to handle today.

Isaiah 43:18 - ( Let Go Of Yesterday ) Do not earnestly remember the former things neither consider the things of old.


I love letting go and moving forward. Yesterday is a reminder of wisdom gained and we use that wisdom to build on.

James 5:12 - ( Learn To Say No ) But let your yes be a simple yes and your no be a simple no so that you may not sin and fall under condemnation.


We must know who we are in Christ and what we believe and set boundaries for ourselves and others and then be consistent with our choices.

Galatians 6:4 ( Be Yourself ) But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable without resorting to boastful comparison with his neighbor.


Be true to the design and purpose that God has given to you. Become proficient in all your ways.

Philippians 1:10 ( Quality Over Quantity ) Learn to sense what is vital and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value. 


Excellence is a portrait of God we must choose to value it in our lives.



Luke 14:28 ( Don't start what you can't finish ) For which of you wishing to build a firm building does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has sufficient means to finish it.



Having vision and planning are vital to living life on purpose. Plan to be successful by evaluating yourself.



John 14:27 - ( Don't make mountains out of mole hills ) Peace I leave with you, my peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you do not let your hearts be troubled neither let them be afraid. 



Do not sweat the small stuff and remember you are the one that title's events. You give them meaning, and you have the power to control your choices. 



Mark 8:34 - ( Mind off yourself ) And Jesus called the throng with his disciples and said to them if anyone intends to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross.



Focusing on Jesus and others puts you in a dimmer light where things of importance seem to fade away.



Hebrews 4:7 - ( Procrastination ) Again he set a definite day today if you would hear his voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.



When revelation and understanding make you aware that it is necessary to move in another direction that is the moment of decision.



1 Corinthians 14:33 - ( Clear Clutter ) For he is not a God of confusion and disorder but of peace and order.



 Being organized brings order and stability and clarity of mind. Simplifying life allows you to put all your resources into your most valued assets. This brings peace to your soul.



1Peter 5:8 - ( Avoid Excess ) Be well balanced, be vigilant and cautious at all times for the enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion seeking someone to devour.



Balance requires evaluation and prioritizing. When we are out of balance we are wasteful and not good stewards of what has been entrusted to us.
